Dermal Fillers

Restore lost volume, smooth deep lines, enhance lips, and sculpt facial contours with dermal fillers—immediate, natural-looking results that last 6-18 months.

What Are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable gel-based treatments that restore volume, fill lines and wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. Most fillers are made from hyaluronic acid (HA)—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that attracts and holds moisture.

Unlike neuromodulators (which relax muscles), fillers add volume and structure. They're ideal for treating static wrinkles (lines visible at rest), restoring lost volume in cheeks and temples, enhancing lips, and improving facial symmetry.

At WishLane, we offer three premium HA filler brands: RHA Collection, Prollenium, and Evolysse. All deliver beautiful, natural results—we'll help you choose the best option for your specific needs.

Evolysse

$750 per syringe

Advanced HA filler with unique cross-linking technology for smooth injection and natural integration. Evolysse provides immediate, beautiful results with minimal swelling. Versatile for multiple treatment areas.

Best for: Versatile option for lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and volume restoration throughout the face.

How to Choose?

All three filler brands are excellent choices. The differences are subtle, and your injector's skill matters far more than the brand. Here's how we select the right filler:

  • Treatment area: RHA excels in dynamic areas (around the mouth), while all three work beautifully in static areas (cheeks, temples)
  • Filler density: Each brand offers different formulations for fine lines vs. deep volume restoration
  • Personal preference: If you've had success with a particular brand in the past, we can continue with it
  • Your goals: Subtle enhancement vs. dramatic transformation influences product and volume selection

During your consultation, we'll assess your facial anatomy, discuss your aesthetic goals, and recommend the best filler and placement strategy for natural, balanced results.

What Can Dermal Fillers Treat?

Common Treatment Areas:

  • Lips: Add volume, enhance shape, improve symmetry, smooth vertical lip lines
  • Nasolabial folds: Soften lines from nose to mouth corners
  • Marionette lines: Fill lines from mouth corners to chin
  • Cheeks: Restore volume, lift mid-face, create definition
  • Temples: Fill hollow temples for a more youthful appearance
  • Under eyes: Fill tear troughs to reduce dark circles and hollows
  • Chin: Enhance projection, improve profile, correct asymmetry
  • Jawline: Define and contour for a more sculpted appearance
  • Hands: Restore volume and minimize visible veins/tendons

What to Expect

During Treatment

Treatment typically takes 15-45 minutes depending on the number of areas treated. Most fillers contain lidocaine (a numbing agent), and we can apply topical numbing cream beforehand for added comfort. You'll feel pressure and possibly mild pinching during injection.

After Treatment

Results are immediate! You'll see volume and smoothing right away, though some swelling is normal and expected (especially in the lips). Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive heat for 24-48 hours. Sleep elevated for the first night to minimize swelling.

Common side effects: Swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness at injection sites. These typically resolve within 3-7 days. Lips tend to swell more than other areas.

Results Timeline

  • Immediately: Visible volume and smoothing (though some swelling present)
  • Days 3-7: Swelling subsides, true results become visible
  • Week 2: Final results settle, filler integrates fully with tissue
  • Months 6-18: Results gradually fade as your body naturally breaks down the HA

Maintenance

Duration varies by product, placement, metabolism, and area treated. Lips tend to metabolize faster (6-9 months), while cheeks and deeper placements can last 12-18 months. Touch-ups as needed to maintain results.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much filler will I need?

It depends on your goals and treatment areas. Lip enhancement typically uses 0.5-1 syringe. Nasolabial folds may need 1-2 syringes total. Cheek augmentation often requires 1-2 syringes per side. We'll provide a personalized estimate during your consultation and can start conservatively and build over time.

Will I look overdone or fake?

Not when done correctly! Our philosophy is natural enhancement that looks like you, just refreshed. We err on the side of conservative treatment and can always add more at a follow-up appointment. You're in control of how subtle or dramatic your results are.

Are fillers safe?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers are FDA-approved and have an excellent safety profile. HA is a naturally occurring substance in your body, so allergic reactions are extremely rare. Serious complications are rare when performed by trained, experienced injectors.

What if I don't like the results?

HA fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase (an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid) if needed. This provides a safety net—results are reversible if you're unhappy. Dissolving takes effect within 24-48 hours.

What's the difference between fillers and neuromodulators?

Fillers add volume and fill lines/wrinkles. Neuromodulators relax muscles to prevent dynamic wrinkles. They work in different ways and are often used together for comprehensive facial rejuvenation—neuromodulators for the upper face (forehead, crow's feet) and fillers for the mid and lower face (cheeks, lips, nasolabial folds).

Can I get fillers if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

No. We do not treat pregnant or breastfeeding women with fillers as a precaution, even though there's no evidence of harm.
